I think they should allow him to die. The reason is the situation of Martin now is hopeless and hard to improve, thus continuous treatment will be ineffective. Just relying on tube and respirator to keep him alive is not a long-term plan and the situation is exacerbating day by day. In addition, medical cost is a big problem. Although money is insignificant compared to human’s life, thousands of dollars a day is not only waste of money, but also a big burden on his family which is not very rich.
