If Napoleon had invaded North America, battle of waterloo which is one of the famous wars in history would not have existed. He might have chosen to attack Washington, DC instead. Among various factors why he was defeated by Wellington was the Waterloo position. It is a complicated battlefield that is hard to attack but easy to defend. But Washington is different. If he had launched an attack on Washington as a breakthrough point, he may have won at the battle, and the whole French history would have changed. After the victory of battle of Washington, he would have remained the president of France until his death. The official language of America would have been changed to French because America would have become the colony of France. Even after he had already occupied America, he would not stop invading other countries because he was characterized by his belligerence. People all over the world would not have been able to lead a peaceful life under his outrageous rule.
